The Young Adult Ministry Initiative seeks to grow Unitarian Universalist young adult communities by creating an organization that will train and develop UU young adult, emerging adult, and campus ministry leaders.

We will achieve this by:

- Training, developing, and mentoring leaders

- Provide leaders with resources that will enable their work

- Sustain communities during leadership transitions

- Advocate for funded YAM and fundraise to seed YAM

- Promote connectivity amongst the wider UU communities

YAMI is made possible thanks to the UU Funding Program, who provided us with seed money to get our program started. To larn, go to

Jamie Docherty has been involved in the UU community for the last 13 years and part of UUSF's young adult community for the last 3. Jamie wants others to be able to experience the sense of community and support that they have found within UUism.
